Hey.
I have spent the past four years mining for the magical gold of creativity at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). All of the content you will see in my portfolio is done by yours truly, with some mock-ups utilizing AI. The use of AI as a tool to accelerate projects is helpful, however, I have learned it is limited. It is limited in its ability to take an initial concept, design, or message and bring it to life in a creative and powerful way that has the detail, meaning, and personal touch that connects with the intended audience in a human sort of way.
My designs and writing are done by me, with a few collaborations along the way, as noted. Having AI as a tool for mock-ups (approved by professors ahead of time, of course) helped when trying to find enough hours in the day to get through a grueling curriculum while supporting myself financially through my evening job at “The Grey” Restaurant, and remote internship with Fidelity Memorial Group. These jobs I am particularly grateful for because of the incredible time management, adaptability, real world experience and much more that I learned just this past year at both roles. Some other human things I do are:
Write poetry,
Watercolor,
Oil pastel,
Paper collage,
Make silly videos,
Learn dances with my friends to our favorite music videos.
Music and moving my body help my creativity the most, besides the amazing opportunity of conversing with industry-professional professors and some of my most trusted peers.
I have many aspirations but the biggest are to work in a creative agency or company that will continue to push my creativity and passion for design.
